Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-11-05. Placeholder draft for counsel review — not legal advice.
1. What this covers
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We also use your browser’s local storage for a few settings, and treat it the same way here. This page lists everything Hypemango stores, why, and how to change your choice. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
2. What we do not use
Hypemango does not set advertising, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics cookies. If that changes, this page and the cookie notice will be updated first, and optional categories will stay off until you accept them.
3. Essential cookies
These make the service work and keep it secure. They are set without asking because the product cannot run without them, and they are not used for marketing.
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| refreshToken | Keeps you signed in. HTTP-only, so page scripts cannot read it; stored hashed on our side. | Up to 15 days, or until you log out |
| csrfToken | Protects requests that change data from cross-site forgery (double-submit check). | Browser session |
| channel_oauth_<platform> | Short-lived state value that secures the hand-off while you connect Facebook, X, or LinkedIn. | 10 minutes |
| activeProjectId | Remembers the last project you opened so the app can send you back to it. | 1 year |
| cookieConsent (local storage) | Records the choice you make in the cookie notice. | Until you clear site data |
| theme, review sort (local storage) | Remembers your light/dark mode and review-queue sort order. | Until you clear site data |
4. Optional cookies
These only remember small conveniences. They are set only if you choose “Accept all”. If you choose “Essential only”, the feature still works but forgets your choice when you leave the page.
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| proPromoDismissedAt | Remembers that you dismissed the “Go Pro” card so it does not reappear straight away. | 7 days |
5. Third-party cookies
Payments run on Stripe’s own pages. When you open a Stripe checkout or billing portal, Stripe sets its own cookies under its own policy. When you connect a social account, Facebook, X, or LinkedIn may set cookies on their pages while you authorize access. We do not control those.
6. Change your choice
You can reopen the cookie notice at any time: . Choosing “Essential only” also removes optional cookies already set. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies will stop sign-in from working.
7. Changes & contact
We will update the date above when this list changes. Questions: contact us.
